Kathleen Marjorie Jepson

With great sadness, the family of Kathleen Marjorie (Marge) Jepson, 81, of Grande Prairie, announce her death on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. She was born on February 6, 1936 in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, to Samuel and Hazel Rosenberger, the youngest of three children.
On February 18, 1953 Marge married Oscar Forsberg, in Flin Flon, Manitoba. Together they raised eleven children, though two died as infants. Marge devoted her life to raising her family, for the most part in Fort Nelson, B.C. In 1984, having remarried, she moved to Grande Prairie with her husband, Reg Jepson, with whom she formed a blended family. Widowed in 1997, she lived here until her death.
Surviving her are seven children and four step-children. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Marge lived life “to the full”. Though she lost two children as infants and two as adults, she refused to give up on life. She always looked to the good in life and loved nothing more than a gathering of friends and family.
Her family gives thanks for the wonderful gift she was in their lives. She was the best of mothers, and made her children and grandchildren the focal point of her work and love.
She will be missed and mourned, but never forgotten.
After cremation a service will be held for her later in the spring, when her extended family can gather together in love and remembrance.
