Doris Doreen Halpenny 76 of Bezanson Doreen Halpenny (DDB) passed away quietly at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie, Alberta on Tuesday, March 6, 2001. She was a resident of Bezanson for four years. Doreen is survived by; her only daughter Darlene (Gary) Seaman of Bezanson; Marjorie (Sid) Carlson of Toronto, Ontario, one niece, one nephew; Audrey (Lloyd) Currie of Salmon Arm, B.C., two nieces, three nephews; Arlo Doner of Surrey, B.C., two nieces, four nephews; Eileen (Bruce) Dunsmore of Rocanville, Saskatchewan, one neice, one nephew; Helen (Pete) Krahn of Bezanson, their three daughters; Donna (Bob) Cameron-Tokamp of Medicine Hat (Gammy), their four children; Hazel (Mike)Waters of Medicine Hat (Canadian Mom), their two children; two great-grandchildren, Curtis and Austin Moir of Ironhridge, Ontario and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Keith Doner (survived by wife Murry) of Surrey, B.C. and her mother, Mary Doner and “pops” of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. A memorial service for the late Doreen Halpenny will be held at the Bezanson Community Church on Saturday, March 10, 2001 at 2:00 PM with Rev Jonathan Siggelkow officiating. If friends so desire, flowers would be greatly appreciated or donations can be made to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.
