HOPKINS, Dolly: 1937 - 1995
Eva (Dolly) Hopkins, 58, of Grande Prairie Eva (Dolly) Hopkins went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on October 29. 1995 at the Edson and District Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 30, 1937 at Long Lake, Alta. She is survived and loved by her children: Wanda Hopkins, Preston and Christine, Doreen Hopkins, Gwen and Kenny, Henry Vandervoort (Donna), Shandell, Nicole and Morgan, Cameron Vandervoort (Erika), Colton, Christina and Jeremy, Eva Vandervoort (Jeff) and Meagan, Birdie Findlay (Russ) and Amber, special niece Elaine Findlay, and special grandson Dustin Colt Morin, brother Alfred (Margaret): sisters Grace and Gloria, half brothers Jack, Clarence (Bernice), Rick, Dale, half sisters Mary (Garry), Louise (Tom), Margaret; also numerous nieces nephews, Aunts Uncles and cousins: special cousin; Jim (Boots) Findlay. She was predeceased by her mother Eva (1945): her father Frank (1994), Stepmom, Lottie (1991), son, Wayne (1983), sisters Elizabethe (1992), Eda (1994). She was loved by all, and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. A wake will be held in the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre on Wednesday evening starting at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Church of Christ 9602 92 Avenue Grande Prairie on Thursday. November 2, 1995 at 2 p.m. with Mr. Jim Findlay officiating. Interment to tallow in the Glen Leslie cemetery.
