INGRAHAM, Leon Charles: May 1, 1937 - July 3, 2014
Leon Charles Ingraham Leon Charles Ingraham, longtime resident of Clarkson Valley for 52 years, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014 near Valleyview at the age of 77. Leon was born and raised on a family farm in central Alberta, studied and became a teacher. Moving to Clarkson Valley in 1962, he taught shop at Ridgevalley School and was vice principal and principal while maintaining his own family farm. He also taught in Hillside High School in Valleyview for 9 years. He enjoyed his students, loved teaching, and loved farming. Leon was the loving husband of Evelyn (Kisser) for 53 years 11 months, and loving father of Chip (Jodie) of Grande Prairie, Curt (Robin) of Upland, California; proud grandfather of Ryan, Scott, Arthur, Frances and Evania; great-grandfather of Evanjeleen, twins Charlie and Sophia, and Lyla. Leon also leaves to mourn sister Jean, brother in-law Bob Delaney, and many nieces, nephews and their families. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Grande Prairie Alliance Church (15502 102 St.). A Graveside service will follow at Glen Leslie Cemetery.
