John Laverick
   Mr. John Laverick passed away at his residence at Bezanson, Alberta, on Tuesday, November 19, 1985. at the age of 69. He was born at Kettleness, England, and came to Bezanson in 1930, where he had since resided.
   He is survived by his wife, Molly children: Dorothy (Dave) Grotkowski of Fairview, Torn (Janet) of Bezanson, Howard (Norine) of Bezanson; 7 grandchildren: Lisa, Bradley, Joshua, Jeremy, Jennifer, Michael and Cory; his brother, George of Grande Prairie: sisters: Annie Cameron of Grande Prairie, Elizabeth Bousfield of Victoria. B.C., Jenny Pearson of Woodby, England. and Mary Hammond of Redcar-by-the-Sea, England.
   Public visitation will he held on Friday, November 22, 1985, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Oliver Funeral Chapel.
   Funeral service for the late John Laverick will be held at Oliver Funeral Chapel, Grande Prairie, on Saturday. November 23, 1985, at 11 a.m., with Canon E P. Williston officiating. Interment to take place at the Glen Leslie cemetery.
If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society.

LAVERICK, Molly Ethel: August 12, 1926 - September 23, 2022 {also on Walker grave stone page}

Molly Ethel Laverick
   Molly Ethel Laverick, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Bezanson, AB, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the Grande Prairie Care Centre, at the age of 96 years.
   Molly was born and raised on the farm in Redwater, AB, on August 12, 1926. She was the youngest of 7 born to Leonard and Maggie Walker. Molly moved to the Beaverlodge area after WWII, and married Jack Laverick in 1951. They made their home in Bezanson and raised 3 children.
   She was a strong, hard worker, and was there until the job was done. Molly loved playing cards like whist and smear, enjoyed music and playing her tambourine whenever the opportunity arose. She also enjoyed a good laugh and visiting with the neighbors.
   Molly will be sadly missed by her children: Lori (Ray) Hebert, Dorothy (Dave) Grotkowski, Tom and Janet Laverick, and Howard and Norine Laverick; grandchildren: David Bartman, Janice (Greg) Sim, Don and Lorelei Johnson, Michael and Sheila Laverick, Cory Laverick, Lisa Grotkowski, Brad Grotkowski, Josh and Renee Laverick, Jeremy and Jenn Laverick, and Jenny and Taylor Laverick; as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
   She was predeceased by her husband Jack; parents Leonard and Maggie Walker; sisters Daisy Brown (Warren) and Kitty Libbey Wilkins (Harold George); brothers John and Celia, Jim and Anne, Tom and Kaye (Anne), Ed and Heather; as well as grandson Dwayne Rushton.
   A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 1:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.). Luncheon to follow. Interment to follow at Glen Leslie Cemetery.
