LIGHTFOOT, Benny: 1930 - 1986
Bennie Lightfoot Mr. Bennie Lightfoot passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 27, 1986, at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Grande Prairie, Alberta. at the age of 55. He was born in Spirit River, moved to Grande Prairie at the age of 11, and lived in the Glen Leslie district since the early 1950's. Bennie was known for his love and ability with animals. His lifestyle reflected his love of horses and nature, he is survived by his special friend, Charlotte; his mother, Mary Lightfoot of Grande Prairie: sister, Betty Wilburn of Edmonton; brothers: Robert of Eaglesham, Howard (Melva) of Redcliff, Ed (Jean) of Grande Prairie, Leonard of Elmworth, and Jim (Muriel) of Grande Prairie; and numerous nieces, nephews and close special friends. He was predeceased by his father, George, in 1984. Funeral service for the late Bennie Lightfoot will be held at the Oliver Funeral Chapel, Grande Prairie, Alberta, on Thursday, May 1, 1986, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Vern Begalke officiating. Interment to take place at the Glen Leslie Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Oliver Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Grande Prairie. Telephone 532-2929.
