Harrietts Mae McFadzen
   Harriette Mae McFadzen passed away Wednesday, April 23. 1980, at Grande Prairie at the age of 86. She was born in St. Cloud, Minn., and was a resident of the Peace Country since the spring of 1917.
   She Is survived by two sisters: Stella Nellis of Bezanson and Mable Hunter of St. Albert and brother Roy Robideau of Bezanson.
   She was predeceased by her husband Rhuben and son William Aubrie: seven brothers, Edwin, Irving, Carl, Earl, Ernie, Alex and William. two sisters,  Lillian and Thelma.
   Funeral service for the late Harriette Mae McFadzen will be held from the Oliver Funeral Chapel tomorrow at 2 p m. with Rev. Ron Newfeld officiating. Interment to follow in the Glen Leslie Cemetery.

MCFADZEN, Reuben: 1898 - September 7, 1951

   Reuben Victor McFadzen, 53, died after a short illness in the Municipal Hospital, September 7.
  
Deceased was born at Souris, Manitoba, and came to Bezanson District after the first world war in which he served overseas.
   "Butch" as he was known to all, served four years in the R.C.A.F. during the second world war, after which he moved to a farm four miles north of Sexsmith, where he resided until his death.
   He was well-known from one end of the country to the other and well liked.
   He is survived by his wife and step-son, Billie of Sexsmith, sisters, Maggy and Mary, of Brandon, twin sister, Francis Turner, of Saskatoon, Brother Bob and John McFadzen, of Saskatoon, and Fred of Goodfare, Alberta, and many nephews and nieces.
   Funeral was held from Glen Leslie United Church Tuesday at 2:30, Rev. Frank Chubb officiating. Interment was at Glen Leslie Cemetery.
   Pall bearers, all Legion men, included George Cameron, Buster Brown, George Clark, R. J. Gerow, George McQuitty, and John Jackson, all of Sexsmith.  There were many lovely floral tributes.
