   Andy McNally, longtime resident of Bezanson, Alberta, passed away at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie on September 23, 2005 at the age of 76 years.
   Andy was born on October 26, 1928 at Drake, Saskatchewan, moving to the Peace Country as an infant with his family, where he has resided most of his life.
   He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Joan; children Don and Donna and boys Bret and Darby; Wendy and Dave and boys Curtis and Chris; Grant and children Rory, Erin and Peter; Patricia and children Daren and Lindsay. He is also survived by sisters: Dorothy, Winnie (Gordon) and brothers Steve (Edna), Barney (Kay) and sisters-in-law Armyna and Mary.
   Andy was predeceased by his father Peter McNally, mother Mary Jane McNally, brothers Terrance, Bob and Tommy.
   Public visitation will be held on Monday, September 26 from 7-8 p.m. at Oliver's Funeral Chapel.
   Funeral Service will be held at the Bezanson Community Church on Tuesday, September 27 at 2 p.m. Pastor Chris Willis officiating.
   Memorial donations may be made to the Rainbow Society or children's charity of your choice.

    It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan McNally in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
   Joan was a long-time resident of Bezanson. She loved visiting garage sales, camping, reading, going on adventures with Joan and Rita, dining out; and she especially loved her great-grandchildren.
   She is survived by her children, Don (Donna) McNally, Wendy (Dave) Swenson, Grant (Helen) McNally, and Tricia Lloyd; Her nine Grandchildren; ten Great-Grandchildren; her sister Pat (Gene) Chubak; Sisters-in-law, Florence and Bev Dorscheid; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
   She was predeceased by her husband, Andy McNally; her parents, Art and Rose Dorscheid; her brothers, Gene, Stan, and Burt Dorscheid; her sister, Grace; her infant sister, Nina Fern; and her nephew D’Arcey Fabrick.
   A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Bezanson Memorial Hall.
   Memorial donations may be made to the Bezanson Hall Capitol Campaign (cheques payable to the Country of Grande Prairie) or to a charity of one’s choice.

Patrick Joseph McNally
   Mr. Patrick (Pat) Joseph McNally passed away at his home in Grande Prairie, Alberta. on Monday, December 31, 1984, at the age of 77.
   He was born at Maryport, England. on October 4, 1907 the fourth youngest child of Patrick and Sarah McNally. Pat came to Canada in 1926m and lived in the Waterous, Saskatchewan area before coming to the Grande Prairie area in 1931, where he has since resided except for four years when he worked on the Alaska Highway in Northern, BC and the Yukon.
   He is survived by his loving wife Jennie two daughters, Patricia (Peter) Gaboury of Bezanson, and Doreen (Robert) Blum of Beaverlodge, seven grandchildren, three brothers Jim, John and Joe, all of England, and one sister, Sarah Watson, also of England.
   He as predeceased by his father, mother, one brother, and four sisters in England and brother, Peter, in Grande Prairie,
   Funeral service for the late Patrick Joseph McNally will he held at the Oliver Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 4, 1985 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Vern Begalke officiating, interment to take place at the Glen Leslie Cemetery.
   No flowers by request.

Jennie Marie Goebel, 85, of Grande Prairie
   Jennie Marie McNally. Goebel (nee Grundforsen) of Grande Prairie, Alta. passed away peacefully February 28. 2002 at the Grande Prairie Q.E 11 Hospital at the age of 85 years.
   Jennie was born in Underwood, North Dakota. USA, April 22., 1916. With her parents. Germund and Hilda Grundforsen, she arrived in Grande Prairie, May 25, 1919 and settled on a farm east of Grande Prairie in the Crystal Creek School District. June 4, 1919 and resided there until 1949.
   She and husband Pat McNally then lived on the Alaska Highway Mile 163, Sikanni, for three years, and Mile 733, Swift River, for one year before they moved to Grande Prairie in 1953 with their two daughters. Mom attended school at Crystal Creek. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid, taught Sunday School and Summer Vacation Bible school. Being a very sociable and generous lady, she was always available to give service in any way.
   Jennie will he dearly missed by her husband of 12 years, Warren Goebel. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Doreen of St. Albert and Patsy and her husband, Peter Gaboury of Bezanson; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren: her extended family of 66 years, Dorothy Allen, Stephen and Edna McNally, Armyna Cuthbertson, Mary McNally, Andy and Joan McNally, Gordon and Winnie Boan, Barney and Kay McNally and all their families; Jeffrey and Satchan Gaboury and Shannon Gaboury of 32 years and all their families: Gary and Lynn Goebel, Kay Connors, Vivian Hunik and Lloyd Goebel and all their families of 12 years.
   Jennie was predeceased by her husband. Pat McNally of 48 years in 1984 and her father in 1948 and her mother in 1980, and her nephews, Terrance. Tommy and Bob McNally.
   The honouring of Mom will be held on Tuesday, March 5. 2002 at 2 p.m. at Oliver's Grande Prairie Funeral Chapel, 10005-107 Avenue, Grande Prairie.
   Interment to follow at Glen Leslie Cemetery. Following the interment, lunch and fellowship will be held at the Legion Hut in Bezanson.
   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

   Warren Lester Goebel, formerly of Bad Heart, passed away at the Grande Prairie Care Centre, Grande Prairie, Alberta on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at the age of 90. He was born on November 18, 1916 in Minot, North Dakota.
   Warren is survived by his children; Kay Conners, Vivian Hunik, Garry Goebel (Lynn) and Lloyd Goebel, and 8 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
   He was predeceased by his first wife, Neicie Goebel, second wife
Jennie Goebel, his sisters Jessie, Gertie, Ester, Evelyn; Brothers Harvey and Jim and sons-in-law Edward Hunik and Pat Conners.
   Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Oliver's Grande Prairie Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Teepee Creek Cemetery.

   Mr. Cecil Henry Allen passed away at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Grande Prairie, on Sunday, June 23, 1985, at the age of 80.
   He was born at Wallaceburg, Ontario, and came as a pioneer into the Bezanson area on August 20, 1920, where he resided until his passing.
   He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Evelyn; two daughters Jean Kay (Donald) McRae of Grande Prairie, and Donna Elaine (John) Engelbert of Bezanson; four sisters; Pearl (Fred) Sanderson of Valleyview, Grace (Bill) Ferris of Penticton, B.C., Mildred (Dave) Turner of Grande Prairie, and Leona Gibson of Oliver B.C., three grandsons; Donald Allen McRae, Terry William McRae, and Scott Alan Engelbert, two granddaughters; Nancy Lynn (James Edward) Mullis, and Crystal Dawn Engelbert, one great-grandson, Kent William McRae. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Dora Allen; a brother, Harold; granddaughter, Mary Jean McRae of Grande Prairie, and a brother-in-law, Joseph Charles Gibson.
   Funeral service for the late Cecil Henry Allen will be held at the Oliver Funeral Chapel, Grande Prairie, on Tuesday, June 25, 1985, at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Richard Conrad of Christ Church (Anglican) officiating. Interment to take place at the Glen Leslie Cemetery. By request, no flowers. Memorials in memory of Mr. Allen, to the charity of one's choice, would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Dorothy Allen passed away at the QEII Hospital Sunday, April 4, 2010.
   She was born December 19, 1920 to Peter and Mary McNally, in Lanigan, SK. They came to Alberta April 1929 with the family. Dorothy at a young age went to work for families until she married Cecil Allen in 1939. Dorothy worked all her life on the farm until she moved to Grande Prairie in 1990 to Aurora Court and later to other lodges.
   Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Kay (Don) McRae of Caroline, AB and Donna (John) Engelbert of Bezanson, AB, grandchildren, Allan McRae, Terry (Marilyn) McRae, Nancy (Jim) Cruse, Scott (Erin) Engelbert, Crystal (Lee) Rycroft; great grandchildren, Kent McRae, Blake McRae, Morgan McRae, Brooke Engelbert, Carter Engelbert, Claire Rycroft, one great great grandchild, Hannah McRae, sister, Winnie (Gordon) Boan, brother, Barney (Kay) McNally and many nieces, nephews and family.
   Predeceased by husband Cecil (1985), her parents, five brothers, one infant sister and other family members.
   Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Bezanson Community Church.
