Angela Neudorf    Angela was born at Stanton Hospital in Yellowknife to parents Warren and Nancy Magrum and sister to Kirk and Christina.    Her earliest years were spent in the bush on the family trap line. When she was 5, they moved to Hay River, on the south shore of Great Slave Lake.    She completed her schooling at Diamond Jenness Secondary, “the purple school”. Growing up, she had a close network of friends with lots of fun times. She was active in cross country skiing and track. In 1999 she moved to Grande Prairie to attend Grande Prairie Regional College, graduating with a Diploma in Business Administration. Angela met future husband, Fred Neudorf, in 2001.    Following graduation, Angela stayed in Grande Prairie working at the Alberta Treasury Branch, marrying Fred in 2003. Her treasure was her family; Fred, and children Bradley, Blake and Brooklyn. Her business administration training was helpful with the family business, G.P. Utilities. The family enjoyed travelling with their 5th wheel and spending time at their recently purchased property on Slave Lake, often with Fred’s large extended family.    Angela is survived by her husband Fred, children Bradley (12), Blake (10), and Brooklyn (8), parents Warren and Nancy Magrum, brothers Kirk (Chelsea) and George (Kathy), sister Christina (Josh), grandmother Margaret Stephens as well as mother-in-law Anne Neudorf, brothers-in-law John (Jodie), Willy (Julie) and sisters-in-law Eve Friesen and Trudy Froese (Will), numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends. Angela was a very kind and loving soul always caring more for others before herself, especially children.    Our hearts are broken that she was taken so soon but are comforted knowing she has passed into an eternal life with her Saviour Jesus Christ.    Viewing will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Westpoint Community Church 11305 Pinnacle Blvd, Grande Prairie, AB T8W 0C6.    A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday March 4 at 1:30 p.m. at Westpoint Community Church interment to follow at Glen Leslie cemetery.    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westpoint Community Church in memory of Angela.    Care entrusted to Bear Creek Funeral Home Grande Prairie 780-830-7742 www.bearcreekfuneral.com Posted on Bear Creek Funeral Home (web site)

Fredrick David Neudorf    Fredrick David Neudorf was born on October 25, 1978 in High Level, Alberta. He was the youngest of the children born to Bill and Anne Neudorf. He grew up in La Crete, Alberta and moved to Grande Prairie in 1998 at the age of 20 where he worked for the family business which is now G.P. Utilities.    Fred met his beloved wife, Angela Magrum (Neudorf) in 2001 while living in Grande Prairie. They were married in 2003 and through this union were born three wonderful children; Bradley, Blake and Brooklyn. Fred’s true pride and joy!    Fred very much enjoyed nature and the outdoor life; his favorite pastimes were fishing, camping, cooking, woodworking and traveling.    Fred was a very passionate, loving and kind person even as a young child. He had a big heart for the underdog and less fortunate and would go out of his way to defend and help in any way that he could.    He had a very competitive nature which made him push and challenge himself in many ways.    Fred’s love for his family was very evident. They spent many hours at their lake property enjoying family time, not only with his wife and children, but also with extended family and friends. He loved arranging annual father and son camping/fishing trips with his brothers and cousins and their sons.. he refused to take no for an answer, no matter what the weather, he insisted they all man up and join him in the fun.    In Fred’s short 40 years, he experienced many wonderful highs and very deep lows. He had some very tough and challenging struggles throughout his life. In April, 2011 he sought professional help and at that time, rededicated his life to Christ.    In September 2014, Fred suffered a major heart attack. This difficult trial also brought with it a tremendous blessing as Angela gave her life to Jesus at that time.    In 2015, when the Lord called Angela home, the hardships and pressures of life began to take their toll on Fred. His struggles became increasingly challenging and overwhelming. He again sought professional help in Kelowna, BC    On October 22, 2018, Fred suffered more heart related issues and was admitted to the hospital and he was released the following day. He shared that he felt so exhausted and was so very tired of battling his constant struggles. He pleaded with Jesus to be set free and praised him for it.    On October 25, on his 40th birthday, Fred suffered another major heart attack which took his life. God truly did answer Fred’s pleas for deliverance and mercifully granted him the freedom he so desperately longed for.    Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7    Therefore, if the Son makes you free; you shall be free indeed. TROUT, Eva Marie (Neudorf) (Friesen): September 15, 1968 – March 9, 2020 {also on Trout & Friesen grave stone page}

Eva Marie Trout    Eve was born to William and Anne Neudorf on September 15, 1968, in Fort Vermilion, Alberta. She was a very content child, always trying to please others. Her childhood and early teenage years were spent in active play with her siblings, cousins and friends.    In 1986, Eve graduated from high school and moved to Grande Prairie for two years, getting her college degree for Early Childhood Development. She then moved to High Level and worked at the Daycare and Elementary School for a number of years.    On April 2, 1989, Eve married David Friesen and were blessed with two children: Chance David Marcell, born June 4, 1993, and Chandyn Paige Evaughn Born July 20, 1994.    In 1996, she moved to the city of Grande Prairie. Eve’s dream was to raise her family on an acreage and this dream became reality in December 2001 when they purchased and moved to their own acreage. Eve was now in her element, renovating, decorating, and doing yard work. Eve loved taking care of her family. Her greatest love was her children, her pride and her joy and she loved spending time with them. Homeschooling Chance and Chandyn gave her the opportunity to make memories that would last forever. In this time, she was also busy helping David build and grow their business. Many good memories were made; raising their children, working, family camping trips, vacations… but with the sunshine also came the storms.    In 2009, after a difficult year, Eve and David separated and then later divorced in 2011. This was an extremely difficult time for the family. In 2010, Eve was diagnosed with cancer which required surgery. She then endured a number of treatments and her body responded relatively well. In 2013, the cancer became more aggressive and Eve was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The treatments became more frequent and more intense.    On December 27, 2015, Eve married Jay Trout. They then built a house together in Grande Prairie. Eve spent more time in Scottsdale, Arizona, for more treatments, chemo, radiation as well as natural methods. Jay continued to care for Eve and took her on many trips for treatment.    Chandyn, Eve’s daughter and best friend, dedicated all her time caring for her precious mother, which meant the world to Eve. Eve had such a fighting spirit, no matter the pain or discomfort she never uttered a word of complaint and would take everything that came her way with a brave smile.    On August 1, 2019, Eve received a beautiful blessing, the birth of her first grandchild, Myles Jacob Doerksen, son of Chandyn and Jeff. Eve absolutely adored him and spent as much time with him as she could. On December 31, 2019, Chandyn and Jeff were married, and Eve gladly welcomed her son-in-law.    With these blessings also came more hardships. After a 10-year battle with cancer it was apparent that her health was declining rapidly. Since her brother Fred’s passing, as well as the news of her daughter’s pregnancy, Eve’s heart became very heavy and her desire to be obedient to her Lord intensified. She felt the need to reconcile her relationship with David.    In the last days the family unit was restored and reunited once again. They spent their time together sharing, laughing, and praying as a family. This act of obedience, as well as the answers to numerous prayers filled Eve with an indescribable peace. This peace was felt and cherished by all those who came into her presence. Eve passed away peacefully, as those who loved her so dearly, sat by her side.    Some verses that were precious to Eve:    Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:6-7    Not to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. – Ephesians 3:20-21    A Funeral Service for Eve will take place at People’s Church in Grande Prairie on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 1:00 PM.
