PATTISON, Denise Anne: March 7, 1955 - June 3, 1995 {also on Cote grave stone page}
Denise Pattison, 40, of Grande Prairie On Sat June 3, 1995 Denise Anne Pattison died peacefully in her sleep at 40 year, age. She was born in Edson, Alta., and was raised in the Whitemud farming community, going to school in Valleyview. In 1995, she was married to Max Pattison they lived for several years in Valleyview, later moving to Grande Prairie. Denise loved life and approached all things with great energy. She was a faithful friend to all with a tremendous compassion for others. A wonderful mother to her two children loving and caring for them with all her heart. They were truly the joy of her life. Even after years of pain she was always laughing and telling a funny story, her way of rising above the trials before her. In the early part of this year Denise graduated from a Grande Prairie Business College against tremendous odds receiving honors. It was a demonstration of her courage and determination. She trusted in the Lord for her future, not knowing the Lord had a greater plan for her. He prepared a place for her in Heaven and received her unto Himself as the Scriptures say, "I will go and prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto Myself that where I am, there ye may be also." Denise is predeceased by her brother Jay Dale. Survived by her are her son Shane and daughter Michelle, Husband Max, her parents Felix and Lillian Cote, two sisters Deborah and Teena, four brothers Blain, Wayne, Miles and Chris. Grandmother Alice Cote and many other relatives including parents-in- law Beulah and Cecil Pattison, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. Denise touched all who knew her. We will all dearly miss her. Heaven's gain has been our loss. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation or AADAC (Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission).
