John Lowe John Lowe passed away at the Grande Prairie Hospital on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1982, at the age of 81 years. He was born at Murray River, P.E.I., and was a resident of Heritage Lodge, Grande Prairie, at the time of his passing. He was an elder of Forbes Presbyterian Church. He is survived by two sons: Joseph of Edmonton, and Herbert of Dawson Creek, B.C.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Manetta, in 1964; one brother, Grant; and by two sisters: Emily and Ethel. Funeral service for the late John Lowe will be held at Forbes Presbyterian Church, Grande Prairie, on Saturday, Sept. 11, 1982, with Rev. D'Arcy Lade officiating. Interment to follow at the Glen Leslie cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart Foundation would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral arrangements by Oliver Funeral Chapel. Elsie Manetta Lowe Funeral services will be held Monday, in Forbes Presbyterian Church, Grande Prairie, for a district resident, Mrs. Elsie Manetta Lowe. Mrs. Lowe, 61, died Thursday at her residence in Grande Prairie. Born at Sault St. Marie, Ontario, she was the daughter of David Johnston and the former Jane A Bell. Before moving to reside in Grande Prairie, Mrs. Lowe had lived in the Glen Leslie district. Surviving are her husband John, in Grande Prairie, and sons Joseph, in Winnipeg; and Herbert of Dawson Creek. Rev. J.J. Harrold Morris will officiate at the 2:30 p.m. service in Forbes Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Glen Leslie cemetery.
